Kagyu Ling, the first Buddhist centre to be founded in Manchester, was established in 1975 by Karma Thinley Rinpoche and Lama Jampa Thaye. The centre allows people to learn the systems of meditation and study of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Buddhism, whose spiritual head is the Karmapa Lama.

Meditation at Kagyu Ling - Simply Meditation

Mondays 10.00am - 11.00am
Tuesdays 8.00pm - 9.00pm
Wednesdays 8.00pm - 9.00pm
Fridays 7.00pm - 8.00pm

The Way of the Buddha - Meditation combined with a short presentation of the Buddhist spiritual path

Wednesdays 10.30am-11.30am
Saturdays 11.00am - 12.00pm

Through meditation we can develop a stable, clear and peaceful state of mind Suitable for all, no experience necessary.

There is no fixed charge for the classes. Donations are welcome to contribute to the Centre’s running costs.
